I am a Dutch lactation consultant (IBCLC) with a background in midwifery. I have worked with pregnant and newly delivered mothers in the UK, The Netherlands, and China. I worked and lived in China for more than twenty years. This helped me to understand the Chinese situation, their traditions, and their thinking concerning childbirth and breastfeeding. I have trained and supported medical personnel, pregnant and newly delivered women in different parts of China. I love helping women and their partners to prepare for the birth of their baby, for breastfeeding, and for taking care of a new life. I speak Dutch, English, and Chinese fluently.
